Friluftsliv [Free-air-life] the great outdoors

I rarely read the Sunday papers but today’s is starting to be a revelation (I won’t reveal my source of course). But I’ve discovered the Scandinavian word FRILUFTSLIV which means free-air-life.

The thrust of the article is that Scandinavians get a much tougher winter but have learned to embrace it and get outside as often as possible.

In the current covid environment is FRILUFTSLIV now the new normal 🥶😱 or are we just boring brits in the dark
